If you are a South African then the name "Wimpy" will most definitely ring a bell; it will actually get your mouth watering at the thought of one of those famously delicious Wimpy breakfasts you grab after a good night out. And for those of you who don't know what Wimpy is, it has been the leading restaurant chain in South Africa since 1967.

1967, A year that was alive with success, expression, innovation and excitement and the year that Wimpy was born in South Africa. And if you ordered a Wimpy burger, chips and Coke back in 1967, you'd get a bill for 60 cents. Right from the start Wimpy stood for a lot more than great food. It also stood for quality, cleanliness, service, value and friendliness. Although these days your bill for a Wimpy burger, chips and a Coke won't be 60 cents, but nothing else has changed.

The Wimpy in at Killarney, Owned by Michael Mc Dermott, specialises in breakfast and burgers with a choice of various salads and desserts for the whole family. Also a wide range of beverages including special Wimpy coffee, in a warm, friendly, casual atmosphere.
